Discover Sailing 2025
Dovestone sailing club hosted their annual Open Day on May 10th. It is part of the Royal Yachting Association's (RYA) Discover Sailing initiative. For just £10 participants try sailing with an experienced helm for 30 minutes then return to the club house for light refreshments. The weather on the day was perfect sunshine and a gentle breeze. Over 60 people enjoyed getting out on the water and several plan to take it further by taking an RYA training course at the club or by becoming a full member. More pictures from the day here.
